Got a 10 bolt rear need help identifying supposedly 67 GS stamped on tube 112 WF casting #s C 160 9799100 any help out there ?
That is a PONTIAC 8.2 from the casting numbers WF is a 3.23 if it still has its original gearing. C 16 0 is month day and year MARCH (c) sixteenth day (16) 1970 (0) One of the BETTER 10 bolt 8.2 rears Pontiac housings and cap support is great. I would stick a posi unit in and have some fun. IF you like the ratio - which in my opinion is a great middle of the road performance gear for 3 speed trannied car. 3.36 is another good ratio JIm
