I was hoping to have been one step closer with the levers you sent me, but they didn't fit?!?! Maybe they came off a non-tilt column and won't fit the tilt column on my car? I'm going to see if it's possible to transfer over the plastic tips. Otherwise it's only the package tray left to sort out, but there's a bunch of speakers under there, so I'm not sure what to do yet. I'd like to sew something nice from the same material used for the seats..

There's a small amount of touch up welding left, but it's almost time to hand it over to more capable hands for the final aligning, sanding, and paint. I don't want to do a one-day job, but not a $5k+ job either. If I could find something in the middle there I think I'll be happy. I intend to drive it and I'm not really interested in shows.

 

It was a non tilt column I don't remember any mention of tilt sorry about that if there is anything else You need that I have let Me know so I can make up for the mistake.

 

No mistake on your end, more like me being all excited after having located some of the final missing pieces and not thinking about asking if the insertion end looks the same on a non-tilt as a tilt

 

I still have a complete dash and pad if You need any switches. I think if You worm the plastic in boiling water they should come off and a little 3M adhesive to put them on the other leavers :TU:
