Wow those tires look like rubber bands. I bet that rides rough. The pic looks photo shopped around the wheel spokes. Is that to block out the tiny drums compared to the wheels?
There is no photoshop at all. Thats a cell phone pic. no touch up. the tires are small, but the car actually rides really smooth still.
nope. the drums are there. ya just cant see them. it was close to dusk, and i guess there was just a shadow.
Not my taste, but I do think it does look sharp. I abuse my cars too much to have rims/tires like that very long.
it looks good....What brand are those wheels? what size rubber and rim?... I will be going big on my 72 boat tail too, as big as I can and still lay frame... it will be bagged. how much room is there between the inner fender and top of the tire? trying to get a feel for how big I can go.
I'm not a a fan of big rims , but I like it :TU: There's certainly not going to be any side wall play  Bruce
They are the Oasis brand iroc replicas. and there is TONS of room. I could very easily most the 24" up front, and put a 26" out back, and still lower it.
Not sure if it's jus tthe angle, but the difference in size between the front and back is too much IMO. I think if you had left the rear the same size as the fronts, it wouldn't look too bad. If you had more room, why not put bigger tires on those rims? Go easy on those potholes.
if you need a couple of clydesdales to pull that wagon give me a call..not my thing but go for it,this is America
I am not a fan of big wheels either, but I like it. I wounder what it would look like with some taller tires. Looks good, I would drive it but it would need a set of hair driers on the engine to keep those rubber bands warm.
Now you're talking! I think I'd repair the rust before I spent that kind of dough on wheels and tires, but rock on!
u cerainly would not be driving that car with those wheel & tires here in windsor. the roads would kick the crap out them. don' be offended, i dislike those large rims & skinny tires. but, each to his own.
I like them and what size tires and rims are they? And who would have thought that irocs would look nice on a riviera?
