Joe, Have you considered buying a rig to haul cars around the country? Seems like there is always a demand for it.
Thanks Annie but I don't have a class A yet. I DO have my A Permit but need to schedule a road test.o No: I been driving for a living for like 20 yrs and never had a need for an A. I always did ok with my Class B.:Brow: But there is a little good news for now, I got a call today from my union rep and he got 15 of us work tomorrow at the World Trade Center. Not sure if it's permenament yet but i'm keeping my fingers crossed.ray:
Do you need a Class A license to just haul a 2 car trailer with a dually truck? I have no idea about the license classes. Anyway - congrats on the WTC job, hope it goes well!! When you're done with the prayers for your job, please redirect them this way - I'm just barely keeping my head above water!!
Well your right about not needing a special Class for that kind of set up. I misunderstood you. You need a class A for the big car haulers.o No: As far as the WTC job yesterday, myself and 15 guys from my old shop got 20 hrs in!!!!! Nice payday at time and a half. Little over $1000 for a days pay. Now I can pay some bills!!! Whew!ray: I hope things turn around for all of us Annie.ray: I totally sympathize with you!!!!! God luck to all of us.
Joe, if you need a little extra cash, I need some stuff run back and forth between here and LI & Brooklyn.
Artie sorry I didn't get back to you but I slept for just about 23 hrs after I did that 20 hr shift at the WTC. I'll call you tomorrow.
Artie call me when you get a chance. Not sure of your hrs and don't want to bother the baby if I call. Btw i'm still sitting home pulling my hair out. Something has to happen soon.
