Started snowing here this afternoon. Wet, heavy snow. A real mess. We got maybe 4". Heard a huge crash earlier. I kinda shrugged it off as the highway trucks are plowing. Figured it was the plow. My neighbor knocks on my door and says a huge branch just fell on Jen's truck and its laying across my lawn. Oh sh.....

I go out and see a 10 foot branch about 6" around right up against the truck. Took 2 people to move. I took a broom and took all the snow off the truck. Cant see any damage whatsoever. I thought for sure the roof would be smashed. I cant believe it. The only thing I can think of it must of been a glancing blow and the snow acted as a buffer.

I cant wait to go out in the AM and see if there is anything at all on the truck .Unbelievable

I had already moved it away from against the truck in this pic-

If you look closely, you can make out the broken limb where it came from-

Maybe it's time to cut that tree down? Or at least have a tree guy check it for disease/ rot and maybe trim as needed.

Wowzas! Hopefully all good like it looks like. I had a pine tree fall on my ex's Ford Ranger and it was most certainly easy to see the damage hahaha.....looking forward to the results tomorrow. Hopefully that horseshoe works for things like this, too :)

It's a real mess in the NY metro area. My wife left for work early on what is an 80 minute drive. She;s now on the rd for 5.5 hrs and still not at work. Weather people really droped the ball. We were forcast to get 3-8 by the time the storm ends tomorrow. Were already over 9 inches and no updates from the weather liars. Great Job. Big $ and no problem if you wrong.....

    You’re always lucky.

Glad it appears to be ok.

Hope the morning light shows no damage. Rather it happened when the truck was parked, than when going down the road. You may remember my post about that happening to my wife and I. We were lucky not to have been killed.

They were saying a coating to a inch for me . We got 6 inches here . I had everyone calling for plowing service . Plow and pump are buried .

    Good thing C.L.
Just drove 4 hours in a Big A** truck in this mess to go 80 miles from Hershey. Forecast was C-2", roads were a mess, not many road crews seen.

Thankfully the wife made it to work safely . 6.5 hrs for an 80 minute normal commute even leaving early to mitigate it. Seems there was a total lack of snow clearing people out there. Weather people blew it. She saw three lanes of highway, of which one was cleared. To bad it is not private enterprise as some head would roll. It's govt, so no problem.

We actually had snow yesterday morning here in Alabama! Before Thanksgiving! That's what I get for bragging about our warm, sunny weather last week. Of course, none stuck on the roads and it all melted in a few hours...

Horsing around is OK. Just don't be a stick in the mud.

Went out this morning and found a small crease in the roof over the door. Thinking about what could of happened, I'm lucky it was just minor damage. I'll post some pics when I get back home
