HI there, a year ago I bought a 72 skylark convertible my nest step is giving it a posi rear end. IM going to stick with the 350 2bbl but I want a posi rear what can I or cant I use
Are you asking what vehicles you can pull the rearend from, then here is a safe list: Any 68-72 GM A-body rearend. Some Chevelle's and Elcamino's had 12-bolts. They work fine, just have to change the rear u-joint. Also most if not all 68-70 10 bolt rear ends require a different length driveshaft, longer I believe. So keep that in mind. Everything else in the suspension should go right in.
