A freind of mine has these manifolds and wants to raise some cash. He is not online, so he asked me to find out how much they are worth. They are in good shape. He thinks they are for a 427, but any positive ID would be appreciated. Thanks, Joel

    Joel,
I have a pocket guide to Ford part numbers....for the 1963-68 427, it lists exhaust manifold numbers C3AE-B and C3AE-D. These are the only manifolds listed for the 427.....

If you aren't familiar with Ford part numbering.....
    C3: C=1960's ;3=3, So C3= 1963
A= Full size car line (Galaxie, etc)
    9431= exhaust manifold
-B or -D: Revision.....For example, 'A' might be for left side, standard heads, while a 'C' might be for left side, hi-port head.

A part designed for a '63 Galaxie, may also have been used on a 1967 Fairlane....part numbers would be the same.

    Value???? Dunno....let eBay decide??

    Hope this helps!

My boss is a part-time Ford parts dealer. If they are available when he gets back from Ohio, I'll see if he is interested. :Do No:

Just saw similar headers at the Portland Oregon swap meet. Nicely bead blasted and painred. Vendor was asking $1000.00

I dont know if they sold.

They are for Galaxie '63 to '64 The '63 to '64 manifolds are slightly different than the '65 to '67.

They would be the standard production manifolds for the 390 police intercepter P code, 427 410hp Q code and the 427 425hp R code.

They will not fit Fairlane etc.

I've seen them sell for $400 to $600. I bought mine for $300.

They are swoopy (technical term) aren't they?

As I recall mine weighed around 60lbs for the pair.

Another cool Ford manifold is the shorty version installed on the '60 352 360hp cars. I think also on some of the 406 cars also.

Anyway, they only weigh 20lbs.....no more than the 390 log jobs.
