Typically, the usage of alcohol was limited to about 10%, by volume, requiring little if any compensation. Though alcohol's correct mixture is about 7:1, the low volume used in the gasoline will not drastically affect metering. How does the engine run? The correct method of idle mixture adjustment, as I recall was using the lean drop method, you might simply readjust the mixture to assure yourself of the settings. The idle speed, and timing must be correct here, as throttle openings are critical to correct settings. Ray

oh, it seems to run good, however, after setting for a hour or so, gas seems to drain out of the carb, i have to hold pedal down to start it.when i had the carb cleaned earlier this year, the guy set the idle screws to 3 1/2 turns.

also,i see a gas leak, happens when i first drive it in the morning, from the lower right front corner.when i remove the gas cap, it stops. i am using a vented locking cap. the original was a non vented cap. does make a difference?? :Do No:
