The tail of the boat... I like this design, gutsy...
I put a little note on the back number plate to make sure I don't get any tickets while DMV is processing, the tags expired May 05.

The rims are shot, one even has cement on it. I have some good ones laying around here, maybe I'll stick the ones with the white letter 255/60/15 tires on it. I have this urge to paint it satin black.... . The car is definitely from "the dark side".. Does rattle can paint always come out uneven? Flaming or what ever it might be called.

Nice score, man. I got my 73 Riv in exchange for a couple of cylinder heads and an aftermarket intake manifold, but the body has lots of rust and I am in the process of changing the engine. The interior is very nice, however, except for the armrests and that plastic console thingy that runs up onto the package shelf behind the rear seat. THe pic in my avatar is from many moons ago when the guy I got it from had restored it, but it doesn't look near that good, now.

How about doing a Riv GSX? Black stripe down the side and hood, spoilers front and rear. I've been contemplating this, but I'm not sure how to get a spoiler to look right on the boat tail rear. I'm also thinking trumpet gold paint, its a big Buick after all.

I hope that trans isn't as bad as it sounds like it could be. Looks like a lot of fun, otherwise.

I like a personalised styling on a paint job, but it has to be tastefully done. I think the lines don't follow as straight on a b-tail as a GS, so lines could be hard to work out. I'm sure there's some cool way to do it. The tranny situation was not supposed to have happened, but it looks like we're in bad shape there. We'll see how it goes down, rebuild, sell the car as is, replace tranny, who knows :Do No:
