Few items I'd like to see in the hands of those in need. Free but you must pay the shipping. I can bring any of these to Reynolds, GA this weekend if anyone is coming that can use some of this. Here goes.... 2 of the 70-2 GS/ Skylark black molded plastic floor board fire wall panels. This is the piece that crooks around the floor dimmer switch and covers the carpet underneath the pedals. Used but in great shape. 1 manual transmission shift boot that I think is from a 65 GS 4 speed car. I inheriented this when I bought my car from the previous owner who had a 65 GS 4 speed car too. Excellent and intact with good rubber condition. 9 used stainless headlight retaining rings. These would be god for a driver and need polishing up. 5 new Quadrajet fuel filters that mount in the carb inlet snout. I run an inline unit in another place so I don't need these. Brand new and never used. 3 71-2 455 AC idle solenoids. Used but working condition. 1 350 AC idle solenoid (I think??) Used. Summit oil pressure gauge 2 1/16" I believe. Also have a 3 gauge holder that held these Summit gauges if anyone can use it. Buick horn button for Buick ralley wheel horn cap that is cracked and hazed. Complete and all there but not the most beautiful piece. Would be a good one if you have none. ECM for 80's GM car #: 1226515 has chip, etc. Got it cheap out of a junkyard thinking it was the spare I needed for my TR but it wasn't the correct one. No idea what it fits or from what application?? Early 4 gauge holder for Regal/ GN that mounts in console pod area. Holds 4 2 1/16" gauges. Has a hole drilled in it that someone must have used for a toggle switch. Used needs paint. Reply to this thread or PM me as first come, first served. As I mentioned, can bring any items to Reynolds this weekend to save shipping charges. I may not be able to ship any items until next week due to my schedule this week. Just some small tokens of my appreciation for this board/ forum and the help I've received over time. My way of saying "thanks" Lets keep "Pay It Forward" going guys!
Summit oil pressure gauge 2 1/16" I believe. Also have a 3 gauge holder that held these Summit gauges if anyone can use it. I will take this thanks! Jason
455 solenoind? Hey Evans, are you speaking of the electrical solenoid or the dashpot that cushions the throttle lever back to idle speed?
Re: 455 solenoind? Al, The four units I have are the dashpot that bumps the throttle lever when energized. I'm not very proficient with my dig camera or I would give a pic. Its the piece that's about 2" long cylindrical with the plunger on one end. It does have an electrical connector on it. I don't have the mounts these sit in for the intake. Does that clarify more of what I have?? I will PM those that have responded. Thanks!
yes, still have two of those James, Still have two of the 455 idle control solenoids. Shoot me a PM and I'll reply with shipping quote, addy, etc.
Re: Re: 455 solenoind? No, I'm looking for the dashpot type(non-electrical) for my 1970 GSX. Thanks anyway..:TU:
Re: Re: Re: 455 solenoind? Wish I could help you out brother... sorry! Hopefully you'll find it soon. I'm giving serious thought to getting that 7040240 carb you sold me built right by John Osborne pretty soon. Also need to get a spare TA49 turbo rebuilt too so we'll see which happens first? Lots of other wants and Buick parts desires that will take some prioritizing but you know how that goes.
If you still have them, I will take 1 black molded plastic piece and 4 of the retaining headlight rings. Send me a pm on shipping costs to Novi, Mi. 48375
A little off-thread but... Al (GSThunder), I'm pretty sure I have several of the 70 dashpots and you can have one if you are still interested. Brian
