    Hey IgnitionMan and other members,

I saw a previous post that you had a Vega with the 215. I have a '72 with a 215 and would like to ask you(and others) a question or two.

My car is a project. No interior, glass, dash, lights, etc. Just sheetmetal and drivetrain. Here's my problem:
I broke the clutch cable timing the engine the other day. I can't find an exact match(NAPA picture catalog). I put a cable from my '73 parts car but it won't disengage the clutch enough. Too much cable at the shift fork.

I pulled the trans today(T-50 5 speed) and bellhousing to inspect the clutch, PP, TO bearing, etc..... The bellhousing appears to be some sort of aftermarket unit as the 215 doesn't share the Chevy or BOP bolt pattern. I have no idea what I've got........

If I could post some picts, do you think I could get some help here? Maybe it is a similar setup as yours?
