I'm 16, and I have a 1975 Buick LeSabre Custom, Blue with White vinyl top. Stock wheels (chrome). It's in real good condition, still under 93,000mi. Getting a tuneup right now, it needs it. So, Hello there everyone. Oh, also, my LeSabre is only a 350(5.7), the baby of the LeSabres from that year. :blast:

You can drop the 5.7 notation if you want, we know what a 350 is here! :TU: I have a 350 in my 68 also, with a 455 waiting in the wings someday. A 455 would drop right in that big 1975 boat of yours! Not that there's anything wrong with a 350, it's an excellent motor too.

Ye who wanted a pic (WARNING: This was taken when my wheels were really grungy looking. Polished em up since) Currently in for a tuneup, turns out the previous owner never changed the spark plugs since he bought it. Engine's getting cleaned up. Anyone know of any replacements for the insulation under the hood? It got kinda bad, so I need to replace it.
WOW!... looks like my everyday car ... a 76 lesabre ...cept mine has a blue top. kinda cool when you drive these big ol cars in parking lots and can pretty well ignore the speedbumps. nice ride.:TU:

Ya only get bashed when you deserve it.....and seemingly "dumb" questions dont get credit here. We all started out "learning" at some point and the smart ones keep learning. BTW....put your first name in the "Sginature" portion of your profile where you listed the cars' specs and peeps will stop bothering you about that......its just that we're a friendly bunch and like to know who we're talking with. Underhood insulation should be available at Year One, Postons, OPGI, and a few other places. Do some searches here for their respective websites Welcome !!
You'll never get bashed by me for having a big car with a 350 in it. I love the GS and Skylark but don't happen to have one of those either. At a car show I'll always look longer at a car that may be the only one of it's kind at the show. It's good to see someone keeping a less popular car on the road, takes more work to find the parts.
