Hi guys my name is Seth. I come from eastern MA and I own a 68 Special deluxe. Throughout my journey in finding parts for my ride i've heard a few things about this site and how I should join. This is my first car and it is currently my daily(until the snow hits). I'm relatively new to fixing up classic cars but so far I love doing it. Its also a hobby for me and my dad to do as well and he knows a lot more than I do. Everybody I have met who is interested in Buicks has been super helpful and I love the community. I look forward to learning a lot more about my car and Buicks in general on this site. Attached are a couplepictures of my car and I want to thank Mark C over in MA who sold me a mint rear bumper a couple weeks ago.

Great specimen you have there...NICE! Looks like a great foundation for whatever you want to do with her.

Welcome! Love the multi colored look. I also have a Special Deluxe, although mine was sold as a GS California.

Which engine does your car have? Mine has the PP code high horsepower 350 V8. It's lovely.

Your car has skylark fenders on it, but they look solid which is more than I can say for mine. Also your roof looks a lot better (seriously). Mine had a replacement vinyl top installed and it wasn't done well and moisture got under it...

I would love to see the interior also!

Welcome from Northern Virginia. I'm also new to the Buick world, my 1970 GS 455 is only 2 1/2 years since I bought it.

I've had a lot of help from forum members. While I'm 74, and an SBC guy of 50+ years. This Buick is my first experience and I'm loving it.
Whatever you need for your car, someone on this forum will help you find it.
However, finding parts for 50+ year old Buicks are difficult to find. Good luck on your build.
Send us some more picks. :D

Welcome! btw guard that upper front chrome grille piece! Those are rare to see not cracked. Be careful leaning over when working under the hood.
