Howdy, My name is Gilbert. I live in Austin, TX, but I was raised in NM. TX is nice but I miss the mountians... I am an afterschool 4-H teacher, to K-5th. I teach sportfishing, archery level 1 NAA, rochetry and all sorts of general science curriculum. I just got my hands on a georgous 62 Wildcat 225 2d HT with a 401, and I have recently been tuning it up and this site has been very helpful. I'm greatful for all those folks that have been busting their knuckles since before I was around, sharing their experience and expertice with us snot nosed punks... I would not be able to keep up a car like this without you folks. Thanks:grin:
Welcome Welcome My son just moved to Austin from Phoenix (originally Ohio), so I have visited a couple of times. He likes it, lives in Cedar Park. There are a few other Austin Buick fanatic members here too. One is Austingta or something like that. They even have their own web site. Look around on this board you may find it.
Number7, You might want to add your name to your posts..... There are quite a few Buick guys in the Austin area. Check out www.austinbuicks.org for their website. Phil Green is the main organizer in that area and does the website. My son, Jarrod, (jcamp116 on v8buick) is also in Cedar Park and has a '67 Gs400. Good luck with your car! Might see you at one of the Austin events as we go there fairly often. Steve
uhmm, sure! if you want to look at it that way. *(actually, i'm the youngest of seven kids)* kinda the same thing i guess...
Ohhh, Ok... I thought you were just weird, but you were making a funny reference to something way before my time... Are you ready? I was born in 19...................................................
*80* that's right, I'm 26yrs old. My Buick is 18 years older than me... "I don't know who was before Reagan" o No: yep, I'm "wet behind the ears" just like it says.
