Jim do not limit the search so much. On the passenger side they were the the same as I remember 67-70 and ther may have been a casting revision shortly thereafter. On the drivers side 67 was different but beginning in 68 they were the same I think well up into the 70s --maybe to the end. If there is a date code on them that includes a year I am unaware of it.
Thanks for the info... I have a car that is a 1970 12 B code date. I will surely open this search up. Thanks for your help.
I have four sets of exhaust manifolds at the machine shop being surfaced and cast painted. They have already been sandblasted. Should have at least one set of 1970's but I forgot to write down the casting #'s. I'll get some pics for you tomorrow or saturday. Doug
jim, i have recently rbuilt my street engine from a 1970 455 SF block and have the stock manifolds, intake, distributor, etc. The 2 dr Electra 225 that it came out of is also for sale. i live in Monticello,Ky approx 110miles east of Bowling Green, KY. if interested contact by this email. kframsey@alltel.net.
Jim all those I have turned out to be 68 69 manifolds. They're in good shape and would work for you but the castings and date codes would be incorrect. I forgot to update the thread. Let me know if you're interested anyway- the 3 sets I have are on ebay right now.
Jim I am sorry I have not gotten over to the storage to get pics of mine . I am going tomorrow and will post them here John
Thanks everyone for there help.:TU: I will be going over to John's for the exhaust manifolds since he is nearby.
Thanks John for the exhaust manifolds, your visual insight get's my 1970 19-A car one step foward. :3gears:
