I'm in the beginning stages of building up a mid performance 64 skylark and would love to have a 400 or 401. Does anyone has any info. on one close to the San Francisco Bay Area? Also I'm on the look out for a pair of 67 gs scoops. Thanks
and would love to have a 400 or 401. careful with asking like that. a noob might see '400' and think one of the 67-69 motors would be what you want. the '400' from 66 and earlier was actually the 401 nailhead rebadged for the mid-size cars to meet GM's displacement limit for the smaller cars. to clarify, you're looking for a Nailhead engine, right?
