Why would anyone do a ground up restore if there are only 8900 miles on it? Worth much more all orginal.
I guess a well to do indiviudial really wants this one . On the other hand I have seen some evidence of unscrupulous bidding parctices on some Mopars . On one in particular a 71 Hemi Cuda with a non original engine was bid to 1,330,000.00 . Not meeting the reserve !!! Then a bid was retracted and it went unsold (?) for 880,000.00 . I think people screw with these auctions to try to increase the bids and values of the vehicles . Not to say it is going on here but , buyer beware!!! I have personally seen a 900 mile Cobra Jet Mach 1 that needed complete restoration . Although it was just really a engine tear down and freshen from sitting . Interior fell apart from dry rot . and repaint from the atmosphere eating away at it . Most low mileage cars aren't sitting in climate controlled garages .
