72 Skylark. Are the mountin gpoints from the steel factory components sufficient? I have a set of front fenders and Gs Hood from vfn. Anyone installed fiberglass fenders or hood before? I know I need low pressure hood springs. Most of my questions I suppose come from the fenders. The factory steel inner fenders I am keeping and I can mount to the fiberglass fender with all factory mount points. If other factory mounting points were made on the fenders so they could connect to the car the same way the steel fender did, such as the lower front rod that bolts to the fender, is that sufficient? Any tips appreciated.
