Was wondering if anyone can recommend a service to rechrome the plastic instrument cluster. I see the radio bezel is reproduced. But need the main instrument housing to be redone. thanks

For $349 you can get a repro instrument cluster. Its a pretty good repro for most applications

If going for stock look, minimal chrome shows. consider using the molotov chrome pen. there are threads on it on this board.

^^^ Agreed - 15 bucks or less and its 95% good as new. The results are great if you're on a budget.

I need to do this too. Trying to decide which way to go. Not concerned about cost. I like stuff the best it can be.

for slightly larger areas--there is spaz stix. rated one of the best chrome paints-at lease 2-3 years ago. you spray a black base coat then a chrome finish coat. there are plenty of you tube videos on it. i bought it but have not used it yet. this would be good to avoid brush/pen marks when covering larger areas. Then again, i recall that they sell the molotov liquid chrome for airbrush use and this might be as good or better.
