I'm trying to finish up my restoration. I have all new wiring all new bulb's in the instrument cluster the dimer light. turn signal, idiot lights, head lights work just no lamination on the speedo. I was thinking the rheostat on the light switch may be bad and now for the other part if you change from a st 300 to a st 400 do you need a different natural safety switch the car start's in natural but not in drive. I have put the linkage on a cable and it may need to be adjusted any body thoughts ? one last thing its a 66 GS /401 nailhead
Don't know if this will help, but there is a metal bridge between the speedo and the oil/water/fuel/gen gauge. Is that between the gauges?
