I wanted to post these photos and info about these wheel covers to see if there is any interest or further info on them. These are factory wheel covers from 1965 or 1966, they have the same casting number as the Chevrolet mag style cap 551851 which were only used in 65 and 66. The later version from 1967 and up were a little different design and a different cast number 552205. I believe these are very rare I'm posting photos of them apart to show the pieces and how Buick assembled them. On the inside of each center cap they are marked 1-2-3-4 individually. Also on one of the cones is etched sample XXX. One other odd thing is that the spokes are painted tan or beige which I can only assume would have matched the body color of the car. I'm positive these are factory correct..
