Interesting 67 GS

Don't know if I like the paint scheme but it does look menacing.

Hot rod Black! thats the color i plan on painting my 71

 

Everyone has their own idea of "cool". That's not mine.

 

I'd be leaving most of the underside of the car in my driveway, not to mention a hoist to get out

 

Except it's tow tone blue over black, I didn't notice that at first either.
I kind of like the lowered stance though.

 

It's great if under 10 k but 16500 for base model flat black w painted bumpers

 

I think it's all satin black, it probably looks a little different above that body line because of the way light is hitting it.

Chrome bumpers would look much better!

 

It is deceiveing but in this pic it sure looks blue!
I didn't notice the painted bumpers either.

 

i think the current term for this type of car with all black wheels, bumpers and flat black paint is called "murdered" i don't care for it at all. in my opinion these cars look best with glossy paint and chrome.

Agreed here also but gloss black paint will show every ripple in the body work from 50 ft. away. You can hide all kinds of things with a flat Finnish, the car always looks good at 30 ft. especially at night. I know this because my metal skills aren't all that good.

 

bumpers are a gun metal not black. its not murdered out as they say. i really like this car minus the flat black body. it still looks good but i just dont like black cars. i think the car would have looked better with brushed look silver bumper. or if it was white. i dont like chrome much it only looks good with chrome wheels and very glossy paint.

I don't have the patience for Black cars either and that's why i sold my 70 GS455 4 speed.
