I sometimes cruise the Chevelle forum and found this link about 68's getting Buick interior. I did not know this but this was interesting. http://www.chevelles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=156055
Yeah, when I first came out with the 68 buick interiors I sold a ton of them. At first I wondered where they were going, because the 68's were not as popular a car as the 70-72 buicks were. Later I found out the majority were going into Chevelles. Duane
That is very interesting. It is nice to see the Chevelle guys appreciate a quality "Buick" interior
Would have never thought Buick interior would make it into a Chevy... Was it the deluxe interiors from GS400's or the lower level from the Customs and Larks?
Glad to hear you got it. It's not much, but you really helped me out this year and you slipped away at Hagley before we could buy you lunch.
It was the Deluxe interior used on the GS and Skylark Customs. Here is a photo from the Chevelle site of the interior in a '68 Chevelle. Note the absense of GS or Skylark badges on the door panel.
