I need some advice on interior colour combinations. I have a 72 skylark with sunburst yellow exterior. I have black carpet, I have a complete sandalwood (greenish white) interior, buckets I've aquired are saddle or tan. what would be a correct interior colour combination I could go with black buckets, black carpet, black headliner, but I don't have a complete door panel and trim in black. I have a complete in saddle and sandalwood, but I really hate both colours.

basically I need to purchase the headliner to progress forward and decide on the interior seat colours later. So sandalwood or black?

If you have black buckets everything must be black. You will have to paint everything lower dash, steering column, Kick panels and all plastic trim. A lot of work but easiest to match. Try and find a black dash as it should be a flat black.

Also I believe black carpets were only used with black or white interiors. Door panels and seats should match. If you go with black you may have to buy some new stuff or do lots of painting/Dyeing.
