I'm looking for a pass.side door emblem for a 68 gs. It's a whitish color and simply says GS. Does any one have one of these impossible to find pieces?
I have at least one of them, what quality are you looking for? If you aren't in a hurry, I may have a nice one available come spring time.

Ok Mike, I have 3 spare emblems, and 2 of them I'm willing to let go. (gotta keep one nice spare!) Both have 2 studs, missing the 3rd, but they mount up just fine with 2, you really can't tell the difference on the door panel. One or both that are on my car only have 2 studs, and they look fine. Both have decent chrome, but with small pitting. Both have nice GS lettering. But as is most often the case, both have some defects in that background you mentioned. On one, the background almost looks kind of "melty" for lack of a better descriptive word, and is somewhat grayish looking. The 2nd one is in much better shape, the background is Excellent, except for a brownish stain on the far right side of the emblem, on the inside, behind the plastic face. This 2nd one looks much nice, in my opinion. And I know that the clear plastic insert can be removed, very carefully, and maybe the staining can be cleaned? Don't know, I have no idea what causes this, though I have seen it a few times. Let me know if you would like me to post pics, either one or both, and I'll get it done tonight or tomorrow. Gary, feel free to offer up whatever you have too, we may as well give Mike as many choices as we can.
Mike, here's what I have. Now I have to say, these both look much better in your hand, than these closeup pics make them look. If you are interested in either one, or both, let me know and I'll figure out what I need for them.
