Hi, just an 18 year-old gal checkin' in from Maryland. I was at Cecil County Dragway for a Buick/MANDRA meet they had recently and was told to sign-up here because maybe you guys and gals can help me out. Straight-up, I have a 1969 Buick Skylark and she needs help. I need quarters, trunk pan, fender patch panels, and door panels. I did go to Carlise this last spring and fall, but didn't really get much help. Any way, my car is a 2 door, hardtop, brown-ish and black in. If she is done right I know she will be beautiful, and a hard runner, but gettin' there and getting the parts is a nightmare. But I still wouldn't trade her for anything. So if any of you Buick lovers out there can help me out, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!! I need it. My dad said we can start on her in the spring, after the truck and his Coronet are done. So I am looking for parts now. Just to give you an idea of how bad she is, I can open the trunk lid, look to my right and see straight through to the ground.!!!!!!! Any way, just reply to this by my e-mail please-- Brandy9139139@aol.com-- put "buick parts" as a title. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Check-in real soon.

Welcome to the board Brandy (I'm guessing)!! Take a look around the parts for sale section, you may find some things you need there. If not keep and eye on it as things pop up from time to time! :TU:

    69GS400s ...my own amusement ride!

    Welcome Brandy !!

I too had a '69 Skylark as my First ride when I was 18.....errrr....back in 1981 :puzzled: One warning though - Be careful what you get into....That '69 bug bit me so bad Im still scratching the bite....20+ years later.

A board member named Mike Garrison (thats his user name) recently parted out several '69s. I know he has a complete rear end (body shell) of the car and a whole lot more. only problem is He's in Kansas.

Bill Lagna had some '69 parts at Cecil - did you talk with him ?? So did Doug Dougherty .

    Repro quarters are available

Tell Dad to put the Coronet on hold.....and get BUSYYY on the BUick instead !!
