I might be able to buy a 67 skylark roller. It was recently primed and body work done but has no tranny or motor. It's 1500. Interior is all out but still there. Original stuff just nowhere near perfect. Daily driver. I have a motor and tranny so wondering if it is worth it. BTW poor college kid so frame off resto is not my imediate goal. I have a 4dr right now.
Sounds a bit high for my taste. I've bought cars that could be made running and are driveable and together for as little as $200; even though I just part them out. Of course they are pretty rusty. If you like the body style and the car, I'd offer him $1,000, no more.
