I was just looking over the dealer code list that Mark M.(GSXNUT) graciously posted.( Thanks BTW Mark!)

Annnnd, if i'm reading my POP correctly, it's stamped 14-000 with a mini tri-shield next to it.

According to the list, there's no such animal. There's only 2 listings for Zone 14

    ZONE 14
    14-99
    DOWNTOWN BUICK
    601 N SAGINAW STREET
    FLINT
    MI
    73
    14-902
    BUICK RETAIL STORE
    205 S DORT HIGHWAY
    FLINT
    MI
    73

Am I misreading the POP? It should be on the lower right in this pic, right?

I "believe" that the "000" was used for delivery to Buick zone office's and not to dealers.

I just don't understand this though. Zone 14 looks like it's in Flint, Mi. and my car was bought new in Aspen, Co.

Mark M. knows dealer info way better than me so I may be wrong on the Zone thing. Maybe your car was a company executive car in Flint for a few months and then was sold "new" by the Colorado dealer? I was going to buy a truck last year that was a demo with 2K miles, still sold as new but at a discounted price (I did not buy it because the discount was not enough in my opinion). Maybe the Colorado dealer got wind of a company car that was available and was able to sell it to a wanting customer?

Yeah, I guess that's a possibility. Maybe Mark or someone will read this post and unravel this mystery.

    BUQUICK I'm your huckleberry.

My guess is that it was used by Buick for a period of time, then later sent to a dealer to sell it, similar to our '72 Stage 1 Zone office convertible. Our car was first sent to the Atlanta, GA zone office 18-001 (invoice date of 08/26/71) and then a month later (09/28/71) it was sent to a dealership located in Murfreesboro, TN where it was eventually sold to a private individual.

My only other guess is that it is a typo (possible but unlikely).
