I have a 70' 350, and my car has an electric fuel pump, and the old block off plate will not fit the new engine. I will probably have to grind it down, but before I do that does anyone know off a commercially available one??? thanks james
It has to be a chevy big block plate. Most small block plates are designed to replace the pump pushrod cover also. Wiers chevy stuff. You may have to trim a little off the inboard area of the new plate where it usually hits the timing cover. Not that I've done that but I did stay at a holiday inn express lastnight:laugh:
