Sounds like a great deal to me. If it has the orignal engine, even better. If you wish to convert it back to a 4-spd, you can use all chevelle parts to do so. Definately check it out! Pete
that sounds like a bad deal to me  why dont you foward the contact to me and ill look into it  pete
The car is still available, it is complete, he couldn't think of anything missing. The previous owner before him had changed the transmission into an automatic, but the clutch assembly was still there. It has no rust, but the vinyl top is gone. The interior needs to be re-done, the original engine is still there. I will go and get some pictures and some more info about it after breakfast.
Your secert is out! Someone just listed it in the Cars for Sale forum. If you want it, you better buy it right now. Pete
Paint - $2 to 5K, interior - $1K - O&Es - $1K = $4K + $5K = $9K! number matching (engine) 71 GS 455 Good Deal! Did they keep the old trans? even better! Grilles are now available repro, so that's not an issue! - Bill
Ok, here's the deal as far as I saw it. The guy has about ten cars in or around a warehouse all in different condition. He doesn't have time for this one and it has to go. He said make me an offer when I was there and maybe he'd take it, he had gotten a lot of e-mails and calls, but I was the only one who had made it out there. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves, if you have any questions about it, I'd be glad to help you as much as I can. I brought a magnet, and there didn't seem to be any bondo in the bottom of the fenders. There were some bondo repair where the roof folds down on the side above the quarter window. The bumper was lightly pitted, The hood appeared to be solid, there was some oil dripping uder the car when he started it, the rust in the trunk was surface rust as far as I could tell, the chrome list for the front window is available.
