I don't know how that place stays in business. I cringed when I heard one of their commercials on the radio the other day.........you can't expect a bunch of kids to know enough about what they're doing to work on the cars made today without extensive training in auto mechanics.....it's as simple as that. Anybody who takes their car there and pretends they are getting good service is just asking for trouble. :bglasses:

Sounds like they overfilled the trans. When the trans got hot, it aerated the fluid, then overheated the oil, then puked the extra oil out. Check the fluid level. It may be fine, or it could have caused some wear.

I'd be more likely to agree with the Ford garage. These trucks will puke a ton of atf and then fix themselves (or seem to) when they cool off. Fill it up and go for a drive at interstate speed, it will do it again. You might get by with a front bushing and seal in the front pump but I doubt it.

when i was 17 ....my first mech job was at Kmart auto..(only 2 months)...while there ,they must of had 6 engine overhauls that they were billed for ....most were simple oil changes...btw..none of mine...the manager wasnt even knowledgable one bit...what a flim flam joint it was...

I always dreamed of opening up a oil change place with adult looking professional looking employees....midaged....it would catch on...especialy the older crowd costomers...
