Would be glad to bring it but unfortunately there's a huge ocean between our continents. It would be nice to see other fast Buicks. In my country I am the only pioner who is racing Buicks  no companions to share some experience :(

BTW I was driving with regular pump gas as I had no time to get race gas. Can anybody suggest how much power buick bottom end handles without block girdle? Also how strong is stock posi 3.42 rear end, I was afraid to get the last out of the car as I was worried that my rear end will blow up.

I believe Veljo lives in Estonia. Great running '73 Stage 1 you have there, as I just finished viewing your race videos.

Yes I live in Estonia, it's in Europe - below finland.
We don't have any fast Buicks around here, I am the only one not just in my country but in all region :Brow:. I have this 73 stage 1 and also a GN stage 2, it is very hard to be a buick fan as there are no parts over the counter, I have to order every single gasket from US
Also it is hard to get a good advice as there are only chevy guys everywhere.
But at least I got some respect as nobody believed that Buick engine can produce this much power and torque :)

WOW Toomas, this is very good estonian language. You're either foreign estonian or you have good translator  . Aith!
Anyway, despite all the downsides I keep on doing the Buick thing and hope that there will be people who appreciate this.

Thanks for the compliment. I'm a foreign born Estonian from around the Toronto area and am mostly into GS & BBB Skylarks. Your project is definately interesting and I enjoyed the Tartu club drag race videos.

In respect to horsepower handing of the bottom end without a girdle, I have managed to contain 647hp within a 76 block, but by keeping the revs to 6,500. Part of this success is due to a slightly lighter rotating assembly, studs and oiling modifications. No block fill either.

I have always wondered how the Gibson 110 cam behaved. Years ago I had a Lunati experimental grind, with similar timing events to your cam but only ran it only for days before going to a wilder Lunati SP-4 cam ( 253/270 @.050 & 110 LC) The 647 motor has a TA 308S solid with mildly ported Bulldog heads.

Its cool to see some serious Buick representation from Estonia. Keep us posted.

A compilation about our last race in this season. You can have a glimps of my Buick at 2:07 and 3:53. I am in a black T-shirt with shades acting as a mechanic/instructor for my brother who's in the blue suit. It was his first race and also first win :Brow:
It's also good possibility to see drag racing in our country, it wasn't championship race, only a usual weekend race for streetcars. Check out the track conditions....:Dou:
