I just heard from an unnamed source that a Kleiner Frame off 70 stage 1 convert just recently sold for $125,000.00 :eek2: :eek2: I am so glad these cars are finally selling for simular money that its chevy counterparts sell for.:TU: (Now I should restore that 70 GS455 I have for sale and maybe I could get 1/2 of that kind of money o No: )
Lets see... Buick or house, house or Buick o No: Was this Doug's old car, referred to by Brad above? ...and my car is NOT a concours car - I'll still drive it anywhere as that's why they're made :TU: :bglasses:
Big money, no doubt. I am also personally aware of a certain '70 Stage One hardtop, with a frame off restroration, 60k original miles, all original 4-speed that sold within the last 30-45 days...are you ready? $75,000.00 cash. Buyer offered $60,000.00 and was turned away about 4-6 months ago. If you attended the 2003 GS Nationals and visited the concours class you saw this car. This is unbelievable stuff.
