It's amazing the things you do when bored.

I was bored and decided to clean up under the hood a little.:Brow:

This was @ 2:30.

 

This was @ 3:30.

 

This was @ 4:30.

 

Ok pull that engine and spray the firewall and frame. You are so far along now don't stop.

Yeah, but it was really starting to look like crap under the hood so I decided to bite the bullet and clean it up.

 

Taped the door leading edges, I see.

last time i got bored and did that to my car it took two years to get it back together again. :grin:

Don't tell me that. I plan to have it back together by August 15th, of this year. I'm just doing a quickie clean-up and paint.

 

Gregg I going to post a pic or two showing one in all the pieces just to let you know what can happen once you get started-- no steering column-- no suspension-- no heater box or core -- no sheet metal etc. We are geting close to turning the corner and going back to reassembly.

 

Gregg,will you be able to line up the fenders correctly again and not chip any edges?

Probably not. 1 or 2 more chips won't make much of a difference to this paint, it's far from perfect.
