 I know it's not a Buick, but this is the engine out of my work Van. It's a 1979 Ford E 150 Econoline. And the motor needed to be rebuilt. My father and I rebuilt it so nice that I want to put it into a '71 Mustang or something! LOL
Here's some pics for anyone interested in seeing a better than new '79 351 Windsor.

If you look close you can see my '69 GS 400 under restoration.

Tried to post pics, but couldn't. They had to be reduced. Will try again.

I hate it when that happens. What works for me is to reduce the size by 35%. I don't understand why but it has not failed me yet. You aren't the first guy that happenned to.:bglasses:

I put a 351W in an old station wagon I used to have. It's amazing how much more power it had over the 302.

I'm through with Fords, I just don't like the way they are made. Our Tempo is very dependable but it is the most uncomfortable and poorly designed car we ever owned. Right down from the automatic seat belts down to the lack of cupholders.......... and dash that everything you put on it seems to fall into your passengers lap. (including food containers with spagetti sauce in them:af: )

How ironic that you own aTempo. My Stepmother owns a two door Tempo and the automatic seat belt on the driver side wont go up or down so my dad asked to to try and find a door here in Nashville. I've only owned 2 Fords before this van and one was another van which had the worse electrical system and a 71 Mustang Mach 1 2+2. Tha Mustang was a cool car. If i could find ouy how to download pictures here i would show you the an old picture of the Mustang and the van I am working on now and the new motor. Got any ideas of how????
