Its funny, but in 1995 the mileage was 63124 and now reads 65301... That's 2,177 miles in 12 years...It is only the second one I have seen less power door locks and power driver seat.. [/IMG]
Kevin..It will be put in the barn at mom's soon amd I suppose I'll have to work on this one as its nicer than the one I had. Mike.. Its fwd with a 3.8 and a 4 speed automatic. They have a Grand National style interior and there was 1029 produced in 1986 only. This is my 3rd one of which I have 2.To get more info on it check out the website I started for them... http://1986buickcenturygransport.freehosting.net Kevin...I know...lol I was in your neck of the woods to get it. I was in Wooster to retreive it. I was thinking that my one I bought last year would be a good daily summer car for my daughter to take to Buick events and this one would be good for me to take. Thi is my 3rd one and soon after I catch up on my sleep, I will have to share it. with you all.
Thats a pretty sweet car. I have never seen one of those before. Good luck w/ it!! :TU: How much do those cars usually run average? Price wise
Alright with the Buick. How do you like your Featherlite trailer? Any gripes about it? Upstaged in snowy Michigan.
Brian, Unfortunately, these cars were produced in the 80's with the cheap metal and many have been scrapped due to severe rust issues. The paint was terrible as was on the Grand Nationals and that was another common problem. They were a 1 year production car with 1029 produced. The bad thing is that the price for these seem to be no more than 1200-1500 dollars which really isn't fair, but the good part is several inner structure parts are similar to Ciera's,Celebritys and Pontiac 6000's. They were all black and had the blackout treatment.A 3.8 non aspirated motor was the std engine. If you look at the website in my signature, you can see more about them. Here is a pic of my other 2 which I currently own. The featherlite trailer is super exceptional. It weighs 1380 lbs and pulls like it's not behind you.Several times I looked back to make sure it was still there. When I loaded the car on it,it still pulled exceptional. There are a few things that make this a nice trailer. The ramps store in underneath, the fenders are removable to be able to open car doors and the LED lights. I bought this trailer from a dealer in W Va for $4800 bucks. The trailer usually retails for $6000. American trailer is the place where I purchased it from. They sell them on EBAY,which is where I bought this from,Mine is a 2008 trailer as well.
None the less, very unique cars, and i like them as well. When i get out of school and get my career goin i want to have a huge garage w/ lots of cars. I might look into these when that happens. Your site is very informative as well :TU:
