    I host BuickStreet.com at http://www.totalchoicehosting.com.

They have a section of their site which they devote to showcasing a website they host. This month it was http://www.BuickStreet.com!

If you're interested you can read the rest of it here...

P.S. Not showing off - just glad that more people will read about and start appreciating classic Buicks because of this. Well, I hope so anyway.

    Cool!

As good as your website is you deserve the recognition.

Good promotion Bill, for both your site and the Buick in general..:TU:

Was the interview done by telephone or chat? Because in the end the interviewer said:

Bill was really a really great person to talk to, and not being a big car fan myself, I think I learned a little bit more about cars and Buicks especially.

I know for sure that he (or she) never would have used these words (not being a big car fan) after you took this person for a ride in your 225.

    Thanks!

These are huge moments for me. To obtain the coveted "Thumbs Up" from peers you respect is all the success I need in this game and I'm not necessarily talking about the interview either.

-Erik, TCH is a great host. I have 'talked' to them many times via Yahoo Messenger. It is from these chats that they got to 'know me'. The interview was done via email. They asked me the questions and I responded to each one. I tried to keep it real by typing as fast as I could think (yeah right - well I tried to anyway..lol) so my answers where as fresh as if I was being interviewed live. I actually felt like it was a great opportunity to promote Buicks so I tried not to stuff it up by being too...anything.

-Thanks Bruce. You've done a thing or two for the Buick community yourself. I'm a newbie around here compared to folks like yourself (and the rest of the V8Buick/BPG crowd) but I sure am glad that I accidently landed in with the good guys. I mean, I'm being interviewed for crying out loud! Is the Buick community great or what?! :) :TU:

    Thanks again Scott/Kurt. :TU:

It's gonna work well for all of us because I send about 1,000 hits to Adams BuickPartsdirectory from my links page. We know he has every buick website under the sun in there so chances are good that one of them will receive a hit from that and so it goes on.

I prefer to sit here and press refresh than watch TV - that says something I think. The internet is perfect for people who have interests or hobbys such as us and I'm just glad to be able to contribute. I've always wanted to be published (in a car magazine). Well, so far, I've not had anything (finished enough to be) worth writing about so BuickStreet allows me to publish to the world which I have found is surprisingly satisfying. Actually, the site has won two other awards as well but I had to enter the site myself so I they don't have too much cred.

Saints Car Club gave it the "Cool Website Award "
"...A wonderful site, well worth a click or two of you time..."

    Also was awarded the
    Golden Gearhead Award by Gearheadcafe.com

Both come with pretty cool graphics to display on your website if you choose (I didn't).

"Anyway, that's enough about me. What about you? What do you[/] think of me?" - Unknown
