Saw that on the tube. Credit should be given to Buick. Now if we could just get them to bring Dennis Manner make for another run of A bodies and a turbo 455 we would be in business.

Are you the guy talking to Dr Weise on another post about an engine? If so how many ponies and ft -lbs are you ordering?

    Same guy :)

I have to find the car first. I want a '70 GS Stage I matching numbers, (I would consider '71-'72) bucket seats, automatic on floor, pdb, no vinyl roof (but will take off if necessary) and in excellent shape.

I may either buy a completed fixed up ride and build up the engine only, or buy a nice ride, paint the car as GSX clone (yellow) and install a 500+HP engine. Jim is recommending his 1AM http://www.trishieldperf.com/level_1a_engine.htm level engine, very streetable with stock manifolds. I like HP though, so may opt for next level up engine :TU:

Jim said he is so busy now and may not have the time to work on the car this Winter and he is considering moving to a new shop, which will obviously take some time.

I'm going to the Flint show in 2 weeks, so I hope to make some contacts there or maybe even find a ride.

Did you think about Gary's stage 1 already painted as a GSX? It has column shift but that could be changed. Board name, Great Scat.
