The gentleman that sold Shirley her 70 GS calls last week and says he has another original La Mesa Ca . Buick dealer license frame for the car and also found a clip we should have . Well the package arrived today in one piece via USPS and I just had to tell everyone again Jim Emmi is one heck of a stand up guy ! After the car has been sold , shipped , and in our care he still ships items to us .. Jim , Thanx alot from both of us !! :bglasses: :beer :bglasses: :TU:
I have to agree with Bruce.. As some of you may or may not know, I won an eBay auction for what I thought was an NOS GS Trunk Emblem, earlier last month. After receiving the emblem and posting here on the board, it was determined that the emblem was, in fact, a reproduction. Jim Emmi was the seller and after contacting him, he immediately refunded my money, no questions asked, and apologized for not knowing it wasn't NOS. Prior to this, Jim called right after the auction and gave me a break on shipping. Jim is a fine example of the Buick community sticking together, especially since he could have very well told me to go screw myself after I contacted him about the emblem, becoming one less eBay seller I would deal with.....but he didn't. :TU: :TU: I would recommend dealing with Jim again to ANY board member who wants an honest transaction! :TU:
ditto . got a cam and lifters from him - lifters got jumbled up in pkg and out of sequence and he didn't hesitate to refund me some $$ to help out . del ** have some "mixed" 200 mile lifters if anyone wants em for shipping unless jim wants em back **
