i have a rear end out a 91 chevy 8.5 and i need a rear end for a 84 chevy 8.5 what are the differences if i want to swap the whole rear end housing. thanks.
Need to know what chassis the rear ends are out of? I can tell you the 1970-1988 will have 28 spline axles the 1990 8.5 rears will have 30 spline. So all the guts are pretty much the same will see what you come up with as to what each rear diff is out of? Jim
