Jean-Luc sent me some woodgrain that he had leftover from his dash restoration. He also included the white letters for the radio controls!! And to top it off, he sent it over for nothing:beer :beer And he lives in France!

For the love of the Big Buicks:Brow: :Comp: :TU:

    Thanks Jean-Luc!!!

Did you find a #2 top bow yet?

    Hi Adam,
Glad to see you received the envelop. Sorry, I was a bit mean with the quantity of letters. Now that my wife found more of them, I can spare you a full page in case you miss their application !
By the way, am I dreaming or I have seen your white lady for sale on ebay ????:ball:

Who I am going to share impressions re 71 Centurion's with, now ?
After you sell it, at least you can stick the woodgrain on your bedroom's wall and cry....

I have a really high reserve on ebay, so it will probably remain with me for a while longer. All I am doing is seeing what it will go for out there...

    Hey Jean-Luc,

Haven't seen you around the board(s) for some time. Are you still planning to drive the Centurion up North to join in at our 4th Buick Meeting on June 18-19-20 ? I was in Paris the other day, just passing through on my way to Nmes.

    Hi Erik

True that I am not a hard forum player, but you would have seen my name on some boards crying for rubber pedal pads, or top bows, (still looking for them), door solenoids, talking about the best way to chrome-plate plastic, or observing Smartins trunk lip mouldings saga !

I still would love to go to Holland in June. If the :blast: chrome plater I sent all my die cast chrome body pats to decides to do them. I gave to him the door handles, mirrors, tail light bezels in January. Said it would be done within 2 weeks....
Would you imagine me coming to your meeting without door handles and tail lamps ? Shame on the French !!!!

I do not know if yo have the same stupid rule in Holland, but since my car came with a licence card "collection" that one can have for >25 years old cars and can waive the technical controls, I cannot drive outside my district area and the surrounding ones, unless I send a letter to the authorities explaining that I go to a special event (like your meeting) each time. This restriction is supposed to disappear in 2006, when we all align on new European licence plates.

Next time you go by Paris, PM me, I'll take you for a lunch.

Hello Jean-Luc (You better nickname that Centurion "the Enterprise" )

The 4th Buick Meeting will take place in the Netherlands, not in Holland.

I remember giving you an address for the #2 bow on our forum?
Didn't that work out, or did you miss all of this :Do No:

That license plate junk rule was planned for use in the Netherlands too, but instead of this we have a road tax exempt rule for cars over 25 years of age
(saving me from paying US$ 2400,- a year in road tax !!)

    Erik,

    Calling from the Enterprise...
I did contact your friend who was in the US, but I never got an answer. :Do No: I am about to buy new staff from "convertible cars", since the shipment cost in all cases will be high compared to he few savings I can obtain on used parts.

But before doing so, I need to understand exactly what I need, including cable grips, nuts and bolts, rubbers, as I do no want to be left with a 500 $ bow and 2 pivots I cannot mount. :Brow:
