Used to have "JJ andthe Morning Crew" with JJ Johnson and "Dick the Bruiser"..a parodied sidekick that was hilarious. Bruiser was really George something and he retired and moved up to Northern Michigan. JJ then teamed up with Lynn Woodesen (?) and were on about every Detroit radio station in the morning for the next 30 years. Ended up with WCSX (94.7) until they unceremoniously fired them to get some "young blood" going. It has flopped...Last I heard, Lynn was suing JJ for sexual harassment over the years on the program...That was a big part of their "act" over the years.....

It's the American way.

 

Ok Dave do you still have your D.R.E.A.D card from the Wrif ? LOL That was the Bruisers claim to fame .. He hated Disco lol . And the guy who did the parody was George Swell I believe.. I still like Pampero Firpo (Fom-pharaoh fer-po).LOL
