John said he was going to buy some parts i posted, he said the check was in the mail that was in early july. Since i have told others that the parts were sold since he said he wanted them. i still have not received payment. I am just curious if this is a rare occurance or if this is something that this boards deals with on a regular basis? I don't want to tell someone i have something for sale if someone else is interested because if they buy it then i told someone i had a part that would help them and i don't. Thanks Dustin

Bickering back and forth??? Man this guy john455 strings him along for at least a month on sending a check or at least thinking about buying the parts? I would have told him to take a hike and relisted the parts. Let somebody else have a shot at them...... that does have the money. :moonu:
I am a friend of Johns(I can't believe I just said that in public HAHA) and have talked to him about this a bit and have formulated my own opinion. What I would like to know is ........ You might want to get all the facts before you make accusations. I am involved in this as well, I was going to get the pistons from John. The deal went south from both ends as far as I know, lack of response on both ends for whatever reason, miscommunication and other issues have muddied the water. Both parties should move on, it appears no one is at fault, the deal just didn't happen. John has been a stand up guy as long as I have known him, which has been awhile. I am certain no malice was intended. He is just very busy, which makes communication on a BB difficult, if not impossible. Jim
