BUICKS VS. MOPARS, August 5th and 6th, Kearney Nebraska, Kearney raceway park. I would ask that everyone helps get the word out there, so that we can have us a great challenge event. Classes will be announced later, as well as prospective cash payouts. I have got enough interest to make this happen, so we are gonna give it a shot. NO more beating up on your buddies, no more worrying about who your gonna have to race. We are planning on lanes for Buicks and lanes for Mopars. Of course once one brand begins to overtake the other, we will have to even up the lanes. But the intent is to have the cars race the "other" brand ever pass possible. Mike, I got emails from several Buick 1rst timers(to the challenge) about the event this year too. ALL showing interest and planning on attending. This is getting fun again..............

I am actuall trying to pursuade a 'hause' from this board to come as well. he has one hell of a converted to inter cool '85 gn(prolly a deep 11 second car or better). if he and i can get her straight... he may come too. lets see... truck needs tires and shock... burban still needs a new brake controoler. need to borrow extra trailer... hhmm... i think i am busy :spank:

Dave Hello, Congrats on all the great sponsors so far. This event has been Great in the past and hopefully getting better.... The Trophy? I bet your brother has a good chance, Falley is hard to not bet on though. P.D. he is to HIGH Life. Borland maybe, Scotty he is a sleeper. Randy M. can be sneaky also. TTT Just got our reservations at the Ramada. Went with poolside. Now, if you see me by the pool, please don't try to roll back into the water!! That happened way to much on the beach in Florida!! See all there!!
Jeff, looking forward to meetin you. I will be doing my best to get the bench racing trophy this year. Are you one of those dark horses I need to keep an eye on?! Hopefully next year I will be there with a sleeper that no one will suspect. :Brow: As for this year, we should have Eric's Century ready with the 464!!
well,not sure what my car will do, i'm coming for the fun, and my 1st ever 1/4 mile pass will need lotsa pointers from you all. hope i can get some wheels to use by then! i look forward to meeting you too!
