Looks like they sold at the $500 price, so that's one data point towards figuring out what those things are worth these days.

 

That was a deal . I know of 3 pairs recently sold for 750-1k each

 

Wow are most kb valve covers worth those prices or just the shiney ones.

 

Those 3 were shiney ones and sold almost instantly

 

Got a set, maybe I'll put them up for sale at that price, there only collect dust.

 

TA has the mold,.....Mike said it was on the "to do list"

 

Are the shiney worth more than the black ones?

 

Smooth and polished yes

 

I sold my polished set a few yrs ago for $425 iirc

 

First thing I sold here on the board after I joined was a set of KB black finish valve covers I believe I sold them for $ 400 To John Schaefer.

 

Polished is fine, but the top ones were over polished and lost the crisp edges. JMHO... ws
