It appears that there is enough interest to do 10 of the largest size and some quantity of one or more smaller sizes. I will check this post for a few days to gauge interest before I finalize the order with the printer. I now have a quote on all sizes: 12 X 18 - $30 16 X 24 - $33 20 X 30 - $37 24 X 36 - $42 32 X 48 - $50 Shipping is likely to be $8 for the small size up to about $12 for the largest. I believe I have enough interest to order 10 in size 32 X 48 and possibly 4 in the 12 X 18 size. If you would like a print in a different size, please let me know which one you prefer. I will likely place the order early next week with delivery to me expected 3 to 4 weeks after.
I do have one comment to make regarding the 12" X 18" size. I am not sure that I would recommend going that small as the image loses some quality when compressed so much. The difference is noticeable to me in that at 12" X 18" the angled lines are not as crisp as they appear in any of the other available print sizes. As a side note, the digital image that I am starting with is large enough that it would look great even at 48" X 72" if I could find a printer that could print an image that large.
I'd have thought the opposite & that blowing it up would degrade. I'm fine w/the next size up if that's what the other guys want.
What you stated is usually the case, but I started with a very large digital image. I presume that it is the cramming of so many pixels into such a small area that is creating the distortion.
I would like to provide another update. I shipped the original print today and shipping cost was only $9, so I anticipate all shipping costs to be $2 to $3 less than I originally estimated. GSX 554 you have a refund coming.
Right now, the largest size available is 32" X 48". I am looking at other printing options, and I will take all printer suggestions/references anyone has. I will speculate that the printing cost is likely to escalate dramatically for a larger size.
