This guy 73rx3, or Michael as I know him, is cool as the other side of the pillow. I started talking to Michael about some trims, that he was acquiring that turned out to be crap, and he told me so. I also mentioned that I was looking for a hood for my 67. He told me he had a really nice one and that he would let me have it for $75. That would be an awesome tale right there, but... We start to talk about getting it to me. He lives about 8 hours away and who the hell wants to crate up and ship a hood? So I'm thinking I'm going to have to go pick the thing up. No biggie, got a deal, and I like the driving, but MIchael says.."listen the wife and I go up to syracuse every so often to see her brother, which is only 3 hours from you, so maybe we can just meet there". Again, what a hell of a guy he would be if the story ended there, but it doesn't. When it comes down to crunch time, Michael tells me he and the missus will be travelling on from syracuse on to Niagara Falls, NY (about 20 minutes from me), and that he can just bring the hood right to me. He called me, we met up, talked for a while, and the hood was as nice as he said, no dissapointments here. I tried to give him some extra money for his time and trouble, driving a hood across the state, but he wouldn't have any of that. Michael is a class act folks. C-L-A-S-S.
