I am thinking of getting a line lock for my 1965 Skylark, but I don't know if a line lock will work on my MANUAL brakes with a single resevoir. Please help.

the line lock will work on your car it goes in the line to the rear wheels after the tee where the line from the master splits(one line to the front brakes one line to the rear ) you follow that? it should have some directions it the box but thats where it goes and it will work on any setup ok pete

Some put it on the front brakes for doing the burn out, some put it in the rear brakes for launching the car.

    More Info, Please

So, if I wanted to put it on the front brakes to make burnouts easier, I would splice it into the brake line? How is it attached, pressure fittings?

To use it to lock the front wheels, install between master cyl and front brakes. Early single resevoir master cyls may need to add an additional 'T' before the junction to send fluid to the rear brakes. Block off the port on the junction going to the rears. Later cars with to resevoir master cyls, just install in the main brake line fromt the master to the front brakes. You will need to cut the original lines with a tubing cutter and make new flares to adapt the new solenoid for the line loc. The fittings should be included but if not, any good parts or hardware store should have them. Be sure to double flare all the tubes and bleed the brakes when done.
