Welcome aboard. we have some similar machines. Lots of information here and some great folks that will help if you have questions about your cars.:bglasses:
Welcome glad your here ! Hey what should we call ya ?? o No: You did not post your name .... :error: Enjoy !!!!:Brow: :eek2: :TU:
You can call me John, as in John Riley. We are located in W.V. where every few years we have some college football to cheer for. I live exactly 2hrs away from Morgantown, and Huntington, so we can equally support the Mountaineers, or the Herd. Yes, I do have it bad. I should take my '72 Convertible off the list since I have sold it to Volo Auto Museum. Very rare car at only 81 built, but....can't keep them all. It's great to be aboard....finally other buiphiles to chat with. thanks John
Hi John, and welcome to the V8Buick board! Is your '70 a factory Stage1 GS? I run a factory stage1 registry, attempting to document the surviving cars. Please consider joining the registry, as this project cannot succeed without the help and cooperation of all the owners. Please see the Factory Stage1 Registry Website for additional details. If you have any questions/concerns, please shoot me a PM on this board with your phone # and a good time to call. Thanks! PS - What color is your GS?

Purchased i believe from a PX in Vietnam, and delivered to Hez-Ward Buick in Hntington WV.....ordered in May, and delivered in June...(if i remember correctly) I also have the original protecto-plate that came with the car.
Hi John and Welcome to Buicks Anonymous  Sounds like you have some Fine rides and your stage has some interesting stories to tell. I'd just like to offer that you dont sleep on following up with the original owner.....the sooner the better. I similarly had contact with the original owner of my 69 GS Convertible a few times......and I slept on following up and documenting it for a few years. Now He's sleeping on the info.....forever uzzled: ou:
Thank you very much for the info. I actually wanted to take this car to his hometown for a car show....sit and talk to him about the history of the car, and maybe get some photos and get a drive in. I would have done that last month, 'cept for a rocker shaft failure:af: go figure....heh heh John
Okay, Maybe I am starting to figure this thing out. See if this photo attaches. Just a quick glance at my gs.:Brow: John
Very nice John! If you resize one of those pictures to 150x150, you can use it as your avatar (the picture under your name). If you need any help with that, just let me know.
