Lookin for the metal!

I'm looking for metal reproduction... inside and out for as cheap as possible for my 69 gs

 

What particular pieces? Not a lot of metal available for 68/69 models, in repro anyway.

 

inner trunk has some holes not very big... but still a hole none the less...

 

is there a difference between 69 skylark rear quarter skins and 69 gs skins? i'm not sure... i just don't wanna order the wrong parts

 

and will 70-72 listed panels fit my 69 gs? these web sites have really bad production and labeling for the less knowledgeable of us

 

i really need to stop spamming i know but i want to know cause these parts are good parts very in expensive...

Generally no, they are quite different.

 

However, I do not know if the trunk pans are interchangeable.

 

Only difference would be the emblems and their respective mounting holes.

 

i'm just lookin for the right pieces but i'm really short on funds but atleast i can do the body work myself and my cousin paints so he's gonna teach me to paint this summer so i can paint my own

I believe I answered that above. The only difference between a GS and Skylark quarter panel is the emblems, the panels are physically the same.

And on a 69, I "believe" the emblems may be physically the same, but differ in lettering. A GS350 has "350" emblems, a GS400 has "400" emblems. Not sure what the Skylark emblems looked like, but I think they are the same shape (rectangular). But the sheet metal is the same.

 

alright I'm just not wanting to spend 900 on something that wont look right...
i prefer to ask about everything before i spend money... hope to have the quarter panel skins and some rust repair fender strip and get it primed and painted in the next month or 2
